By installing, accessing, or using YouTube Popup Player ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Extension.
2. Description of Service
YouTube Popup Player is a Chrome extension that allows users to watch YouTube videos in floating popup windows. The service includes:
- Free Tier: Popup playback for YouTube Shorts with basic features
- Premium Tier: Popup playback for all YouTube videos with advanced features
3. User Accounts and Registration
3.1 Account Creation
- Premium features require account registration via Google OAuth
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- You are responsible for maintaining account security
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
3.2 Account Security
- Keep your account credentials confidential
- Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
- You are responsible for all activities under your account
4. Subscription Plans and Payments
4.1 Premium Subscription
- Monthly Plan: $2.99/month, billed monthly
- Annual Plan: $24.99/year, billed annually (Save 30%)
- Lifetime Plan: $39.99 one-time payment, permanent access
- All prices in USD
- Prices subject to change with 30 days notice
4.2 Payment Processing
- Payments processed securely via Stripe
- Valid payment method required for premium subscriptions
- Automatic renewal unless cancelled before billing date
- Failed payments may result in service suspension
4.3 Refund Policy
- 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee: Full refund if requested within 7 days of initial purchase
- Lifetime Plan: 30-day refund window for one-time purchases
- Pro-Rated Refunds: Not available for partial subscription periods
- Free Trials: If offered, must be cancelled before trial end to avoid charges

4.4 Cancellation
- Cancel anytime through billing portal or extension settings
- Access continues until end of current billing period
- No refunds for unused portion of subscription period (except 7-day guarantee)
- Re-activation requires new subscription purchase
5. License and Restrictions
5.1 License Grant
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Extension for personal, non-commercial purposes.
5.2 Restrictions
You may NOT:
- Modify, reverse engineer, or decompile the Extension
- Remove copyright or proprietary notices
- Use the Extension for commercial purposes without permission
- Share premium license keys with others
- Circumvent license validation or premium feature restrictions
- Use the Extension for illegal or unauthorized purposes
- Violate YouTube's Terms of Service
6. Usage Limits and Fair Use
6.1 Free Tier Limits
- 100 popup opens per month
- 1 concurrent popup window
- Shorts videos only
6.2 Premium Tier Limits
- Unlimited popup opens per month
- Up to 10 concurrent popup windows
- All YouTube videos
6.3 Fair Use Policy
We reserve the right to suspend accounts exhibiting abuse, including:
- Automated or bot-driven usage
- Excessive API requests
- License key sharing or reselling
- Attempts to circumvent usage limits
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Extension are owned by YouTube Popup Player and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. This includes:
- Extension code and design
- Branding, logos, and trademarks
- Documentation and user guides
8. Third-Party Services
8.1 YouTube
This Extension relies on YouTube's platform. You must comply with YouTube's Terms of Service. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube.
8.2 Chrome Web Store
Distribution through Chrome Web Store is subject to Google Chrome Terms of Service.
8.3 Payment Processor
Stripe processes payments subject to Stripe's Terms of Service.
9. Disclaimers and Warranties
9.1 "As Is" Service
THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
9.2 No Guarantee
We do not guarantee:
- Availability or uptime
- Compatibility with all systems
- YouTube API availability
- Specific features will always be available
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- We are NOT LIABLE for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim
- We are not responsible for YouTube service disruptions or changes
- We are not liable for data loss or corruption
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless YouTube Popup Player from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from:
- Your use of the Extension
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of third-party rights
- Your violation of YouTube's Terms of Service
12. Termination
12.1 By You
- Cancel subscription anytime
- Uninstall extension from Chrome
- Request account deletion
12.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your access for:
- Violation of these Terms
- Fraudulent activity
- Abuse or misuse of service
- Non-payment of subscription fees
- Legal or regulatory requirements
12.3 Effect of Termination
- License to use Extension immediately revoked
- Access to premium features immediately suspended
- No refunds for terminated accounts (except as required by law)
- Data may be deleted after 30 days
13. Changes to Service
We reserve the right to:
- Modify or discontinue features
- Change pricing with 30 days notice
- Update system requirements
- Implement new usage limits
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes are effective upon posting. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated via:

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

- No Class Actions: You waive right to participate in class action lawsuits

16.2 Severability
If any provision is found invalid, remaining provisions remain in effect.
16.3 No Waiver
Failure to enforce any right does not constitute waiver of that right.
16.4 Assignment
You may not assign these Terms. We may assign to any affiliate or successor.
