How does YouTube Popup Player work?
YouTube Popup Player is a Chrome extension that opens YouTube videos in floating popup windows, allowing you to browse while you watch. Free users can popup Shorts videos, while Premium users can popup any YouTube video.
Is it free?
Yes! The free tier allows Shorts popup with up to 100 popups per month and 1 concurrent window. Premium tiers unlock regular video popups, unlimited usage, and up to 10 concurrent windows.
Does it work with YouTube Premium?
Yes! YouTube Popup Player works alongside your YouTube Premium subscription. If you have YouTube Premium, ads are already removed from videos.
Installation & Setup
How do I install the extension?
- Visit the Chrome Web Store
- Click "Add to Chrome"
- Confirm installation
- Navigate to YouTube and enjoy popup playback!
Which browsers are supported?
Currently, we support:

Yes! Cancel anytime through the extension settings or billing portal. You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period.
Billing & Payments
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) through our secure payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your payment card details.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes! We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied within the first 7 days, contact us for a full refund. After 7 days, no refunds are provided for unused subscription periods.
How do I manage my subscription?
Access your billing portal through:
- Extension icon → Settings → "Manage Subscription"

Troubleshooting
Popup not appearing?
- Ensure you're on a YouTube page (youtube.com/watch or youtube.com/shorts)
- Check that the extension is enabled (chrome://extensions)
- Refresh the YouTube page
- Try disabling other YouTube extensions temporarily
- Clear browser cache and restart Chrome
Video not playing in popup?
- Check your internet connection
- Ensure Chrome is up to date
- Try another video
- Disable hardware acceleration: chrome://settings → Advanced → System
Premium features not working after upgrade?
- Click extension icon → Refresh License
- Ensure you're signed in with the same Google account
- Check your subscription status in billing portal
